Living Word Fellowship of Wellsboro, PA is a New Testament full Gospel fellowship of believers in the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who died for our sins, and rose from the dead to bring us life, and that more abundantly.

We believe in the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and that we are filled with the life of the resurrected Son of God by the power of His Holy Spirit. His love toward us is more important than life itself. We desire to grow increasingly more in love with Him, and share that love with others by going into all the world and making disciples.

Pastors Tony & Janet Alward

Pastor Phillip [Tony] Alward has been preaching since he was 14 years of age. He spent 4 years in the U.S. Marine Corp. Upon returning home he served as a Youth Pastor, and served as Dean of San Bernardino Bible College for 5 years. While being an Associate Pastor for Pastor Leonard Fox , Tony was also working "with his hands", and raising a family. A full time pastorate developed out of home meetings during the Charismatic Movement in 1972. He and Janet pioneered Christian Center Chapel, Pastoring and traveling in Presbytery and Convention work. After Pastoring for 17 years the Lord indicated that Tony and Janet should be in mobile ministry and Fathering works who needed healing and strengthening. This led them into Pastoring again in a troubled work in Menifee Valley , CA., where they served for 6 years. Janet has been ministering in teaching, counseling and emotional healing during these years. She has also written a book “A Pathway Through Forgiveness.” In October of 1995, the Prophetic Word came again that they should transition this work and go back into mobile ministry. They were to bring this fresh new wave of the Holy Spirit's Refreshing to America . For the past 11 years they have been traveling through out America , seeing many saved and healed as the hand God is out stretched in this last day harvest. They are currently members of Ministers Fellowship International and are sent out from their home church Living Waters Missionary Association.

Tony and Janet have been married 44 years and have 2 married children, Randy and Cathy Alward, and Mike and Sandy Zinda. They have six grandsons. 3 from each child.
